Are prom dresses supposed to be long or short? Great question! It all depends on the look you want to achieve and your school traditions. For example, at my high school, the tradition was that Juniors wore fun short dresses but Seniors wore sophisticated long dresses. Then, of course, there was my friend Kaley: Bold, Beautiful, and Bright! She wore what she wanted! She rolled in her Senior year in a short, sparkly, purple dress with her Nike high tops. She was the dancing queen. cue ABBA
